Over time, it has become obvious to me that my guardian angels don’t always have the same priorities as I do. I know that might seem an odd thing to say. And when their priorities are askew from mine, it almost always becomes very clear to me right away why they’re right and I’m wrong. They just see things from a much broader perspective. I also think that sometimes I just don’t see things accurately.

Last week, my guardian angels had a very specific message for me and they were using their angelic hammers to get the point home. I started the day by pulling a card from my soon to be released Angel Wisdom Tarot Cards. The message was (paraphrased) “It’s time for your life to change. You need to shift from your old life to a new one that will make you much happier.”

I’ll be honest with you and say that this message actually made me nervous. Generally, I embrace change but there’s only one life change my husband and I are considering at this time and I am wayyyyy not ready for that particular adjustment. So, if not that life change, then what “life change” are we talking about here?

Within an hour, my brother-in-law had posted the following quote on Facebook:

“Your new life is going to cost you your old one… but all you’re going to lose is what was built for a person you no longer are. Let it go.”

A few hours later, a friend of mine said “You know, the ways that you have done things in the past have really served you. They have gotten you where you are. But they’re simply not going to work going forward because now you’re at a totally different place in your life. You’re going to have to adapt how you do things to match your new life, not your old one.”

I call those kinds of repetitive and powerful messages “angel hammering.”

The thing is, by the time the message came around the third time, I got it. I totally knew what it meant and I totally understood the message. There was nothing scary about it because it was 100% true.

In fact, it was not only no longer scary, it was kind of exhilarating.

The kinds of changes my guardian angels are insisting upon weren’t on my radar screen. At least they weren’t on my mind in the way that the angels were trying to get me to see them. But now that I do see what they’re talking about, I am shifting my priorities to match the ones that they obviously have for me.

Angels are so smart.
