Well, we are finally here in our new home. We expected our first day here to be a day of joy and dreams come true, but it turned out to be a day of disaster and heartbreak.
Within five minutes of arriving at the hotel in our new hometown, Lee lost hold of Riley and she was gone. We searched until 12:30 am the next day. We slept a few hours, and started searching again at 4:30 am but couldn’t find her. We then started all of the things you do. Calling the city’s animal control, the police, vets, Petlink Microchip, BoostPaw, NextDoor, etc, etc. It was a harrowing 18 hours until the call came that a lovely couple had found her. She was on the other side of town inside a gated community. I don’t know how she got the gate code, but Riley was in that neighborhood under a car. We immediately paid and then walked away from our lunch and drove like maniacs to get her. We both completely came unglued with relief and gratitude once we had her in our arms.
What had been meant to be a dream come true had turned into our worst nightmares and then been healed by the miracle of her being found safe and sound.
Thirsty, hungry, and exhausted. But safe and sound.
We are treating Riley at this point like a 16-year-old girl who snuck out of the house in the middle of the night and is not grounded forever. We aren’t even letting her go into her own back yard unsupervised.
What I learned from this was how quickly things can go from the highest highs to the lowest lows and then be healed. The angels were with us. The Omni Hotel put their full staff on searching for her (Hi Omni!) and even though they weren’t responsible for finding her, we very much appreciated their kindness. They even sent us food on the house so we could keep searching. I was telling every guest of the hotel that we encountered to please keep an eye out for her. I was really losing hope until we stopped a woman to update her only to notice she was wearing a necklace with a feather as the pendant. Then I had some hope.
The angels and Divine brought Riley back to us. And even though our move and new home are “dreams come true” the real blessing is that we are reunited as a family. And that Riley is safe and we have her in our lives.
Angel blessings,
~Radleigh
Happy Birthday Rad!
Well, Happy Birthday to me. It’s a rare thing that blog day falls on my birthday, so I guess I should make a big whoop-dee-do over it. The problem is, I’m not particularly a big birthday person. With Lee’s job, it makes it very difficult to celebrate. He hasn’t been...

My Letter to Santa Claus
I’m pulling out all the stops on my manifesting for Christmas this year. Working on the Feng Shui of things. And there’s a reason that will absolutely not shock you. I’m getting impatient with the Universe when it comes to finding a sibling for our sheltie Riley...

This made me cry, feel anxious and then over whelmed by joy and relief. Lots of questions too the angels lead you to that side of town, house and people why? The universe will unfold the reason on its own time. So happy you are all back together!!
I’m so glad you found Riley. It has been very stressful for you all. Angel’s are always there with us. All the best in your new place.
Radleigh I am so happy to hear that Riley was found. I would be such a wreck if something happened to my little peanut (Chihuahua). I am thankful that all is good and Riley is safe and sound.
Dear Radleigh, Oh my! What a first day experience! So happy that Riley was found!! I am curious, as I am a relatively new follower, .when you found the Riley went missing, which Angels did you reach out to and what prayer were said?
Enjoy your new home.
Thank you
Barb
Ariel is the archangels of animals and Raphael is said to help lost animals find their way home. I also asked Chamuel (the eyes of God) for us or someone to find her and Raguel is the archangel of helpful people. Finally, Michael for her safety.
❤❤❤
When I read your post the afternoon that you had found Riley I was so relieved. Now to read the details I would have been a basket case. I agree with the grounding – animals don’t handle relocation very well. They do sometimes try to return to the old home. When I made my big move I gave my cats small amounts of brewers yeast for two weeks before and a month after. It tends to help animals make the moves without as much stress. It was recommended by the vet I was working for at the time. Good luck on Lee, Riley and your new journey. May the angels watch over all of you.
Oh my goodness! Soooo happy that this nightmare has a happy ending! Thanks to the angels and God that sweet Riley is back home safe and sound. Well, she went on an expedition of her own like a curious child
Many hugs to Riley and blessings to all three of you in your new dream home. May all your wishes come true
Love Monika

Plant a rosemary bush at your front entrance ( driveway, door, can always be in a pot)
This is for friends only come into your home. Delicious to cook with too.
Bless you all and keep you safe.
Thank you for sharing this! I had a similar experience with my little Maltese and it is so stressful. I always made it a point after that to look at every lost pet post and really try to help because I’m so grateful that someone did that for me. Thank you for the reminder!
Blessings abound…. ❤️
So So happy Riley is home . Your angels sent the lady with the feather pendant to let you know he was safe. The divine and angles keep Riley safe… Blessing to you all ❤❤❤
Hi Radleigh,
Recently I had a similar harrowing experience. Our dog, Bandit, escaped from our fenced in yard. My husband and I searched the neighborhood with no results, but then our next door friend spotted him and lead him back home. Whew that was a close one. We are blessed with so many helpful people, angels, and spirits. May your transition be filled with light and peace.
Thank God your Riley is safe back home again.
Sending you, Lee and Princess Riley much love after your very stressful week. Thanking the Archangels for keeping her safe and reuniting your beautiful family. That is our ultimate treasure in life Radleigh… the love of family. There is nothing that compares to that precious bond.
Wishing you all many blessings in your new life together!
