If you asked me today what the number one thing is that’s making me crazy, I would tell you that it’s my office. We’ve been in this house for around 6 weeks and every room is pulled together and looks awesome except my office which is a mess. It is very, very difficult for me to work productively when things are thrown in every direction, there’s no space for organization, and all my art is still leaning against the walls on the floor.

Part of the reason that the office is a mess is a delay with furniture arriving. I can’t hang art reliably above and around “fantasy furniture.” We keep getting told “It’ll be there this weekend” just for it not to actually show up. The background you’ve been seeing in my office in videos is just one itty-bitty space in the office. If you could see the rest, you’d see what I mean.

I’ve also been second guessing my desk. Its glass. (Yes, I bought a glass desk and now I’m wondering if that’s a Cinderella metaphor somehow.) Frankly, I did it because it’s just so crazy beautiful. But even as I was paying for it, I was questioning how practical a glass desk would be for a guy who lives doing videos. Especially given that I’m almost never fully dressed up. Above the waist, nice shirt, hair, etc. Below the waist, sweatpants and barefoot. Which you can see through the glass desk if I don’t watch my angles.

But I did it anyway. And I guess I was right.

I talk about signs all the time because I love them. They delight me, enchant me, and validate my connection to the angelic realm and my intuition.

I get the local newspaper (electronically) which I check every day. Just a couple of days ago, there was an ad for the furniture store where I bought my desk from. I was astonished, and also laughed out loud to see my desk in the ad. The name of the desk? “Heaven.” I swear on a case of Guardian Angel Messages Tarot Cards that I never noticed the name of the desk. Not on the price tag or the receipt. But there it was in the ad. I bought a desk called Heaven.

I totally missed the sign, but by following my intuition and suppressing my nagging doubts, I guess I still got it right.

My office will eventually come together. It will eventually have furniture and art and storage. And I could continue to focus on what’s not done, or I could have gratitude that we have this house, living in this enchanting tiny town, that everyone at Lee’s new job adores him (why wouldn’t they), that Riley is safe and protected by a nearly done “fortress” we’re building, that Christmas is coming, that 2021 will soon be over (thank gawd,) and that I can still hear the angels telling me to buy a desk called Heaven even when I’m worried about people seeing my sweatpants.

The choice seems easy.

What about you? Have you recently missed a sign but taken the right actions anyway?

By the way, our Angel Friday sale is here and it’s also heaven! Check it out here!

For those of you in the US that celebrate, I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. May your heart be lifted up with the Light in your life, even if there are shadows that challenge you.

With love,

~Radleigh

What the “In-Between” Taught Me About Happiness

The last year and a half of my life has been perhaps the most self-revelatory of my entire life. I do not recall a moment in my past where I have been as dedicated or as intrigued to understand who I truly am. In some ways, that really saddens me. It seems such a...

I Cleaned Out a Closet and Found a Version of Myself I’d Forgotten

You do not want to know how many times I have moved in my life. No seriously. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you. While I know most people do not like change, I seem to love it. I tease people that as a quintuple Sagittarius, I eat change sprinkled on my Wheaties...

2025 Has Flipped Me. And I’m Grateful.

“Fascinating.” Yes, that’s “fascinating” with a period after it not an exclamation point. I grew up watching shows like Star Trek so to me… the word “fascinating” is supposed to be said curiously with one eyebrow raised like Mr. Spock. This whole year for me has been...

The Sprinter’s Spiritual Lesson

Looking back, I cannot recall a time where my life has been so much about learning about myself.  Why don’t we do this when we’re young? It would save us so much time and trouble! We could make such better choices if we were just taught to “know thyself.” One of the...

Holding Hope Without Holding on Too Tight

I have a question for you. How does one balance holding hope in your heart without also creating a powerful attachment to the outcome? Seriously, I’m asking. To me, this is a spiritual highwire act.  Hope and optimism are powerful manifestors. They bring our heart’s...
