Well just like that, February has just about come and gone. Today, I am here for our self-love series for February. Now, over the last three weeks, we’ve spoken about self-love for the mind, self-love for the heart, and self-love for the body. And this week we’re going to finish up with perhaps the most important one of all, self-love for the soul.
I’d like to suggest that you start with writing a gratitude list. This has been very much on my mind lately as back in 2016 I did a daily posting of what I was grateful for. Social media has been reminding me of the things I was grateful for back then (some of them no longer in my life, but very much missed.) Which brings to the forefront the importance of having gratitude for things and people every day.
Start by making a list of all the things that make your soul sing. What makes you sooooo happy? I know that for me, it’s my shelties, Riley and Faith. They make me so happy, and there are other things in my life, both material and not material that make me very happy (hi Disney!) Write a gratitude list about that, and then light a candle. Light a candle and read that gratitude list into the light of the candle saying “Thank you angels for all these blessings and all these wonderful things that really, really matter to me.”
Then, set that list aside. Put it someplace where you can pick it up and do this again for seven days. For seven days like seven candles (or the same candle seven times is fine.) Remind yourself of all the things that you’re grateful for.
Another thing that I think is good for the soul is to do some baking for fun. Baking is such a lovely little thing, right? It’s a labor of love. For example, baking a cake that takes time. We have to think about it. Pull together all the ingredients, and then bake it off. Then it has to be iced. But think of it as something you’re doing out of love for self or others. That cake is in gratefulness to your soul and to your divine connection with Source.
I have lots of other ideas about self-love for the soul. Check out my podcast on the topic at, “The Angel Tarot Show” on mindbodysoul.fm.
By the way, I am doing an Angel Tarot Mastermind LIVE in Palm Springs, California March 29th – April 1st. We’re limiting it to 30 people and more than half of those spots are already taken. If you would like some quality time with me helping you to really up your game, you can check it out Here! Keep in mind this class is not for beginners. You should know a thing or two about Angels and Tarot or Oracle cards.
Angel blessings,
