If you read my blog last week you know that I’ve been recovering from covid. As I write these blogs sometimes weeks in advance, my somewhat rosy prognosis for myself hasn’t completely worked out. I largely feel fine now, but I have a nasty cough that I just can’t seem to shake. For those of you kind enough to be asking in your mind how Lee is, he’s doing well and is back to work. But I am still prone to some pretty intense coughing fits that are defying medication.
As of this writing, I have been dealing with covid (in one way or another) for 19 days.
Yesterday, I was lying in bed in the guest room (I’m still sequestered from Lee just so that I don’t keep him awake at night with my coughing.) I don’t mind admitting to you that I was feeling pretty darn sorry for myself. I’m sick of the cough, tired from the exertion of coughing, bored, lonely, and just plain anxiety laden because I’m not getting much work done. And as I sat there feeling all down and out, I happened to notice this laying on the top of the covers of my bed…
Keep in mind, that’s a big close up of an extremely small white feather. At first, I was perplexed by its presence at all. Then it occurred to me that “oh, there’s a down duvet in there.” So I mindlessly picked it up and tossed it aside.
Then it hit me. “Wait a minute. That’s a sign of hope.” So I quickly retrieved it and placed it on my bedside stand. And just like that, my spirits were lifted. Even though there is a down comforter in that cover, it was still no easy feat for that little, white feather to make its way out of the duvet and up through the cover and (basically) into my lap.
The feather was tiny, but it’s message of hope, comfort, and love from my guardian angels was immense. And that’s the thing, isn’t it? How many tiny little signs from our angels do we miss (or dismiss) because we’re not thinking? If yours truly (a self-described angel boy) can be so focused on my unhappiness that I miss a message, then anyone can. That’s why it’s so important to stay awake. To train your eyes to notice even the smallest of signs from the angels.
In these trying days on planet Earth, we all need all the love and comfort we can get.

May you be blessed with love and healing on this journey of recovery. When I read your written thoughts about feeling indifferent for not getting much work done, I gasped. This little hiccup is your immune system getter STRONGER and STRONGER. Perhaps you’re becoming super human and will be able to weather any viral storm your brilliant body comes in contact with. Transform, transform, transform. Perhaps another reminder to rest and luxuriate.

Beautiful signs from angels the other day I saw angel numbers 999 an saw a yellow feather on my pillow
Raleigh my son and I had covid and I know what you mean about that cough. We were prescribed Benzonatate 100mg cap. They are a little pricey but they worked. We didn’t even finish them cause it was as needed for cough. Check with your doctor. Hope and pray you get healthier soon.

Sending you heartfelt healing and hugs – I know how awful being ill with covid is the coughs,exhaustion, etc – I was for 5 1/2 months – in early 2020, when this “flu” hit. NAC, quercetin, vit D (10k units 3-4 times daily) 2 k units of vit C daily spaced out, zinc 30-40mg -** also you need to have the 80% dark chocolate 1/2 oz – 1 oz to counter copper deficiency. no joke here- yes these are truly a god send. NAC helpd to heal lungs.

If you are in for natural cough therapies Radleigh, put a chopped up onion into a small container and cover in honey. Put in fridge and wait a few hours or overnight. The juice that comes off can be sipped whenever. Has Anti everything and eases a cough, hopefully a covid one.

They talked about quercetine (it’s a food supplement). The previous comment from TJ mentionned it as well – God send – . I know how irritating that coughing can be. I noticed that others have weighed in with suggestions so here is mine and it really works. There is a product called Olbas oil, which is an aromatherapy inhalant and massage oil. Just place a few drops on a tissue and then hold it under your nose, breathe deeply and it will help. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. Thank you for all you do.

Just take it one day at a time, it will go away. Mine took 4 mos with various cough syrups. Rely on your Angels to get you through this, they are of immense help as well!!

Oh Radleigh, you’re absolutely correct, make sure to watch for those little signs. I too have missed a few, then I start with movies or TV programs with happy endings, and my flood gates open. Healing begins, I instantly know what type of medication or preparations to do.

This is a fun little thing – speaking of signs, I’d like to share something that happened to me yesterday. I’m taking the Hay House class for becoming a tarot reader, and you are one of the teachers, of course. So you were talking about how one can ask Archangel Michael to sever energies around you after readings (or whenever it’s needed). As I went out for a run later on, I kinda thought about this, and I was frowning at it – why would a high being like that even bother about coming when I call? Why would he care about some rando on earth?
The SECOND I thought this, the song I was listening to on Spotify went silent… and another one started playing. Not the previous, not the next, but one further up on my list quite aptly called “My Heart is Refusing Me”. It felt like this was Michael himself saying “okay, m’darling, I can hear you, and I’m not happy about your attitude!”.
Needless to say, it had me smiling. I have to add that I’ve never had Spotify do this on me before. That the program shuts off, okay, but never change tracks like this. It was quite… spot on.
Anyways, thank you for your lovely posts. I’m really loving the course as well, and your insights along with it. You are a true inspiration.
