I am almost always working on a new offering with Hay House. Usually cards, less frequently books. In this moment, I’m working on preparing for the launch of my next deck Guardian Angel Messages Tarot in October. While creating a new deck for 2022, and finishing up the book that comes out in January.
In other words, I’m a little busy.
One of these projects has created the opportunity for me to “interview” Archangel Michael. In my years of teaching, he has always won the “popularity contest” with the majority of my students. It’s not hard to understand why. Among other things, he’s the archangel of safety, protection, and life purpose. He also presents himself as particularly handsome. A lot of literature refers to him as a “warrior angel” – a term he has repeatedly told me he doesn’t care for. Frankly, in my experience he’s more super hero than warrior.
Michael has an interesting personality. On the one hand he almost seems to blush at the term “super hero” but on the other hand he also seems to clearly like it. He is just as immensely capable and infinitely wonderful as anything you’ve ever heard, and yet he’s also pretty quirky. My interactions with him show him to be part Superman and part Clarke Kent.
Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound to save the day, dashingly handsome, and kind of a nerd. It’s also interesting to me that his archangel brothers and sisters are in on this joke. Archangel Ariel frequently laughs at her big blue brother much like an affectionate younger sister might do.
This past week has been enormously stressful for me. A convergence of deadlines – both personal and professional – crashed down on my head making the entire week just one big anxiety attack for me. As I am working on an Archangel Michael project, I reached over and pulled a card to ask for his advice. What I got was the message of “You are such a control freak! You really need to let that go. Everything is moving along, it’s just your fear that things are going to crash and burn that has you a mess. Here, wait. I have a sword for that.” And then he proceeded to sever my energetic connections to fear, worry, drama, stories, blah blah.
Laughter is always a big healer for me. Being told by the big, blue guy that I’m a control freak did have me laughing out loud! Even though I didn’t intentionally invite her, it had Archangel Ariel laughing out loud too.
I swear those two are siblings.

The funniest thing Archangel Michael ever told me was when I was going through separation and divorce, sitting alone in a house that I would move out of and I felt really alone. I saw Archangel Michael standing at my left and smiling and I asked why. And he said “From my perspective this room is packed to the ceiling with Angels. You are not alone at all.” I smiled, because at that time I was already working with Angels and Archangels and he just reminded me.
He also often told me when I had fears come up regarding spiritual work, because I remember many past lives where I have been killed for that, he used to say “No one will kill you in this life. You are safe.”
He tells me I’m not his brother and laughs because during readings, during my everyday life I’m forever calling on him saying me again he’s the only Angel I tend to call on, on a daily basis and feel very connected to him as he helps with all my readings and I know as time goes on I won’t need him as much
Though I don’t see my angels, I have felt their presence. I used to drive to work once in a while. I remember asking Michael to ride with me one time and I had all this stuff on the passenger seat next to me. I envisioned him laughing at the full seat and then sitting on the hood of my car as I drove to work. I am looking forward to getting your new deck.
My wish is to see,hear, feel, know Angels, Archangels, Guides, Ancestors,all my Spiritual Team…

Some years ago Archangel Michael appeared to my Reiki teacher as she was giving me a private reading. We were talking about my lifelong habit of burning the candle at both ends at work. Suddenly she smiled and said AA Michael appeared to tell me that “perfectionism is a form of self-.loathing.” I now remember that every time I start to straighten a picture on the wall!
I love this. I don’t see or hear angels (usually) but I feel like I absorb their message somehow. Every time I see depictions of Michael, they seem violent or intimidating. I just never connected with those portraits or statues, so this post made me laugh because everything you described him as validated how I picture him and how he presents himself in my life. I talk to him all the time (I don’t know how or when that started) but I was speaking with a medium once and she just stops mid sentence and says “What is with you and Archangel Michael? It’s like you’re buddies, like when you cross your fingers – you are that close.” I just burst out half laughing and crying. What an awesome being. I am for sure a control freak so when I talk to him tonight I’ll be sure to bring it up lol.
I was going through a major challenge that I had been through before ( pattern here). I asked for Micheal’s help during meditation and was told ” Stop crossing the same bridge, each time you cross, turn left, trudge through mud then cross again. Turn Right next time and go down the road.

Michael says your very claraudient. He loves you. I didn’t like his message for me either. Lol
AAGabriel is the only one who actually talks to me and he just “saves my bacon” with his warnings! He saved me from two horrible car wrecks, saved my jewelry, and on several other incidents he gave me great advice. He presents himself as a male to me. Sorry I don’t have a joke for you Radleigh. 🙁
