Several weeks ago, I started a new routine that I call “Lesson Cards.” If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen them. I started by tacking them on to my cards of the day that I do Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays but then expanded the Lesson Cards to being an everyday part of my “angel walks.”
A few days ago, the Lesson Card I pulled was Nine of Water from Angel Tarot Cards. Tarot fans will recognize that card as the “wish comes true” card. It fit perfectly with a topic that has been on my mind for quite a while. The concept of grace as a gift from the Divine. In particular, when we as humble human beings forget that we are deserving of having our wishes come true. Grace is a Divine blessing that comes when humble hearts least expect it. If you’re curious to hear more about that, you can find that video here!
I had started my angel walk that day with asking for the assistance of Archangel Uriel. I was asking him to shine his golden, heavenly light upon a project I am working on and that I wanted everyone’s attention to be drawn to. Now, I have been working with Uriel on a very regular basis since 2003. His presence is very well known to me. However, it is a rare and powerful bit of grace for him to just appear in my path. Not to mention pose for a picture or two!
But that’s what he did on July 8th. As I was walking through my neighborhood, someone’s sprinkler system suddenly turned on.
And as the water shot up into the air, the sunlight collided and created this image on the left:
Honestly, I was gobsmacked. It was such an obvious gesture on Uriel’s part as an answer to my prayer that I couldn’t even believe it. And just in case that wasn’t enough of a blatant sign for me (I can be just as dense as the next guy) he popped again in the image above on the right further down the sidewalk.
That my friends, is pure grace. That is a blessing directly from the angels and the Divine to say “Hello little one, I know you forget how much you are loved, so I’m just going to show up LIVE and IN PERSON on your walk with you. Hope you don’t mind the water, but you did pull Nine of Water this morning so it seemed only fitting that the Light of God would show up for you in a spray of water.”
How does one even put a value on that kind of experience? How do you wrap you head around that? And don’t even tell me that’s a “coincidence” because my logical, accountant brain still works and I know the odds of something like that happening are preposterous.
For those who might wondering why I was asking Archangel Uriel for his assistance in this way, remember that his name means The Light of God (or The Fire of God.) Besides bringing epiphanies, emotional healing, and life transformation, Uriel can shine like a beacon of light upon you and any aspect of your life where you want others to notice. I like to pair Uriel with Archangel Chamuel (the eyes of God) when I especially want the world to see something I have to offer. As you can see from the images above, Archangel Uriel always appears in a golden light.
In his amazing book, “Your Life in Color: Empowering Your Soul with the Energy of Color,” Dougall Fraser has this to say about the color of gold:
“The color of independence and intelligence, gold is a booster shot of tenacity and motivation. Gold light is used for prioritizing and goals setting… Gold light invokes self-confidence, independence, and motivation. It is an appropriate color for self-employed people and those who simply would like to assert more independence.”
Doesn’t that sound like the perfect color for an angel who is known for helping you to transform your life?
Speaking of which, in case you haven’t heard Dougall and I are hosting a LIVE event in Tampa, Florida in October that focuses on the blending of archangels and the power of color! We’d sure love to see you there. You can find out all about it by clicking here.
Wishing you grace in every aspect of your life.

Energetic Weather Report for May 29th – June 4th
For this week’s Energetic Weather Report, I used Archangel Wisdom Tarot Cards. When readings about romance show up in the cards, I do my best to give alternative messages because not everyone is up for that. But this week, it was really difficult. What can you do with...
Energetic Weather Report for May 22nd – 28th
Over the last 6 weeks I’ve just sort of been meandering through all my decks. Naturally, I couldn’t leave out the one that started it all! So, Angel Tarot Cards had a lot to say about career and life purpose this week. If that’s on your mind, you should have a look!...
Blue Skies, Shining on Me
As of just an hour ago of this writing, TeamRad just finished our annual planning for the coming year. I say “coming year” because over the course of time, it has just organically become the schedule that RadSchool functions on the timeline of a regular college. We do...
Energetic Weather Report for May 15th – 21st
Well, I’ve just got Archangel Power Tarot Cards on the brain this week! And boy did they have a very strong message. For them to be so repetitive must mean some of us are being resistant to letting the past go. But apparently, we really need to! Get the scoop here!...
Mercury Retrograde Card Reading
Well, here we go again. Mercury Retrograde has begun (Tuesday, May 7th) and will be on a little backwards romp through our charts until June 3rd. I know that Merc Retro makes a lot of people nervous. It’s an awfully personal planet given that it represents technology,...
Radleigh,
I had an angel experience over the weekend that I want to share with you. My husband and I were out for dinner and the wine server seemed to have wings. We found out that his name is Zaphan, which I understand is one of the archangels. Have you had any experience with an angel by that name?

Talk about angel synchronicity. Before I read this, I decided I’d do my nails. I opened a drawer, found a nail polish and pulled it out. I didn’t even notice the color since the bottle was inside a small carton box. I open the box, and the color turns out to be gold. The name of the polish is “Sun Gold.” I did laugh out loud at that, because I love when that kind of things happen.
