When I first started studying the intuitive arts, I immediately labeled myself “claircognizant.” That term means “to know” and it matched my experience. I couldn’t tell you how I got messages from cards or from angels, I only knew that I just knew. And my readings would be accurate.
I also knew that in times of great importance or loss, my messages would take an alternative route through clairaudience (which means “to hear.”) And I’m not talking about “hearing with the mind’s ear” stuff. I mean hearing it out loud, through my ears, as though the person next to me had said it.
And for many years I left it at that. But that has changed.
Many of you know that I lost my sheltie Jace three weeks back. Well, I keep seeing him. And this time, it really is “through the mind’s eye”, but he’s throughout the house and the back yard. Oh lookie, clairvoyance (to see) has finally come around. But I’d never experience clairsentience.
Until today.
I have a group of students where we work with a particular archangel each month. For September, it’s going to be Archangel Haniel. So today, I tuned in to her as I have to get this stuff ready in advance.
And boom. Emotion. What I felt, was elegance and grace. Which made sense to me as her name means “the Grace of God.” It’s so funny because at first, I didn’t think anything of it. But then I went to make myself some tea and it hit me “Hey! Wait a minute! That was clairsentience!”
I remember a long, long time ago meeting a woman named Karen who when asked what her primary clair was, she responded with “I’m a Clair-All girl!” That’s a very old reference to a series of commercials that happened in a decade so long ago, I’m not even going to acknowledge it lest I date myself. But I guess I’m realizing I’m no longer claircognizant with side of clairaudience. I’m legit a clair-all guy.
I am giving 100% of the credit for that to the angels and the Divine. My work with the archangels over the last year has definitely amped up my skills. I sought them out and they upped my vibe to be able to connect with them more fully. Intuition and emotion are closely tied so it makes sense that Haniel – an archangel known for increasing our Divine gifts – would reach out to me with emotion essentially flipping on my clairsentient switch.
And the clairvoyance? I think that’s Jace. When last I saw him with my physical eyes, he was weary, unwell, and ready to leave this world. There are images of that last day that are burned into my brain. He knows that. I think he’s showing me himself as his young, strapping, powerful self to help me to override those heartbreaking memories.
If this can happen to me, it can happen to you. We are no different. Reach out to the angels and they will reach back to you.
As an aside, some of you are very kindly asking when the videos for cards of the day and lesson cards will be returning on a regular basis. The answer is, I’m working on it. To be completely honest with you, when I rewatch those videos I still feel that you can see the sadness written all over my face. And I just hate that. I’m not being unkind to myself, I just don’t want to make people feel sorry for me. I will keep trying to do the videos along the way. When I can do a video and I see my smiling self has returned, then the videos will also return as a regular thing. Until then, please just bear with me. I’m getting there. I really am.

Keep honouring yourself Radleigh. Jace and the Angels are with you always (as you know) and the grief will soon fade and joy will return triumphantly. My mom just adopted a Sheltie this year and not ever having one, they are beautiful dogs!!

I know first hand, how painful it is to lose a dog buddy. Some years ago my standard poodle, Taffy made her transition and needless to say, I was heart broken until I had a dream that changed everything. I saw my Taffy colored poodle in perfect health, running and playing with a big black poodle. Yin and Yang. After that I knew she was happy and healthy.

Thank you so much for sharing this story and “clair-evolution” so to speak. I, too, feel like I’m a “clair-all gal” and I’m still giggling at that! 😉 So funny and cute. I feel like I took all the messages and feelings for granted thinking everyone had that, but as I get older I realize although we are all capable of receiving these messages but not all of us listen and are so open to it. I truly am grateful for it (even if it sometimes freaks me out) and try to stay in awe.

Radliegh I know exactly how you felt with loosing your beloved puppy and how you said you thought seeing him around the house and yard. with what I have similar in away but not a puppy I lost my late husband in 2018 and we have on occasions seen as we think he is some times walking around when we are out and in places like shopping. the person is so very much like my ;late husband on every way but a sort as like you said a young version whish is like how we see my late husband and still carrying his wooden cane. so I know exactly what you feel and felt like this happened to us again to day and to night I read your words you wrote. as if you were seeing what we saw to day. take care Radleigh and hope you will feel comfort too and sending blessings and angel light and love thank you.

Love your discussion on being a clair guy… I am my road of learning who and what I am when it comes to the “Clair’s”. Do you have a course specifically to n that or a one off one on one. By the way, I see my Phoebe in the corner of my eye, I hear her running down the hall way and see her indentation on the bed or feel her jump up. They are with us .. we also have a lovely woman who shares the house with us. I had always felt someone else was in my house and one day I had a zoom tarot card reading and Brenda saw her checking her out. Very cool. I have asked my lady to look after Coco (my. Beloved shih tzu) when ever I have to go out. Coco is always chilled when I come home so she is a great dog sitter.

Your recent loss of your beloved Jace has brought back losing our family member Skye. A big yellow lab that was my constant companion. She was just always quietly there. I was a mess when she left us, falling into the ‘ugly cry’ often but then one day, something caught my eye beside me. It was ‘Skye’ as she used to follow me around the house. It didn’t happen all the time but sometimes it was so real I would talk to her – ‘Come on, we are going outside now…’ Yes, people thought I had lost my mind, but that was ok – it offered comfort. It wasn’t too long before she appeared less and less and then was quietly gone. Off running through the fields, no longer in pain or suffering. Take your time… we will patiently wait until you are ready.
Take time, but for the sake of self-care (Jace seconds that plan). Your sharing, as always, was a gift…

You don’t have to be better for anyone. Grief is a funny thing. It comes and goes like the tides of the ocean. I totally relate being I’ve lost 4 beloved fur children in the last 15 yrs, 1 horse who was just the love of my life and 3 cats no sorry 5, my childhood dog as well- died without me at my parents! Don’t ever say we feel sorry FOR you! No! We feel sorry with you! Take your time to heal and just be yourself! There’s nothing and no one else you can be- I wouldn’t love you any other way!

Speaking of clairs have you experienced Clairgustonance otherwise known as Clairailence? Meaning to smell as a clair ability as a premonition.
